App-AC: AC stands for Abandoned Checkouts
"App-AC" private app acts as a bridge for the app to synchronize abandoned checkouts data to Shopify. Just need to make sure the Online Store products are also available to "App-AC".
Compatible Abandoned Checkout Apps:
Any apps that support Shopify's Abandoned Checkouts would be compatible as The app synchronizes data back to Shopify. No integration setup is needed in the app or the abandoned checkouts apps, e.g. Klaviyo, Conversio, Abandonment Protector, SMSBump, etc.
Abandoned Checkout Data Synchronization Flow:
Customer checkouts through the app.
Customer inputs contact info (like email, shipping address, phone number)
Customer leaves without completing an order
After ~30 mins, the app synchronizes the checkout info to Shopify
Shopify creates an Abandoned Checkout & is ready to be processed by an abandoned checkout app, e.g. Klaviyo, Conversio, Abandonment Protector...
Abandoned Checkouts will be processed by Shopify checkout (The recovered revenue will be displayed under sales channel "App-AC")
p.s. You will still see the status "Not Sent" & "Not Recovered" in Shopify Abandoned checkouts as the abandoned checkouts "was not created on the online store".
